“In the area of ​​responsibility of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, a 9K33 ‘Osa’ surface-to-air missile system was observed being deployed near the community of Popasnaya,” the press office said in a statement. posted on his Telegram channel.

The deployment of arms and military equipment by the Ukrainian army in populated localities and their outskirts is a violation of additional ceasefire control measures, the press office stressed.

The situation in the Donbass region deteriorated considerably on January 9 when the Ukrainian army resumed shelling along the entire line of engagement after a continuous ceasefire.

A set of additional measures on the control of the ceasefire which has been in force in the Donbass since July 27, 2020, prohibits the parties to the conflict in the Donbass from opening fire, carrying out offensive operations, reconnaissance and subversives, to use any type of aircraft or to deploy heavy aircraft. weapons in populated localities. One of the main provisions is the use of disciplinary measures in case of violation of the ceasefire. In addition, any retaliatory fire in the event of an offensive is authorized only after direct order from a commander.
