Pearson airport gets cheap flights across Canada and some flights are under $70

Another super-affordable airline is hitting the tarmac at Toronto Pearson Airport soon, and just in time for summer.

The 17th of March, Lynx Air announced that it will add four new travel destinations from Toronto’s busiest airport.

Beginning June 30, Lynx Air will fly from Pearson Airport three times a week to Halifax, and on July 30 it will increase those flights to five a week. Plus, you can board for as little as $69 from Toronto, though prices seem to fluctuate depending on when your flight departs.

Starting June 28, Lynx Air will also serve St. John’s twice a week, increasing the number of flights to seven a week a month later in July. One-way tickets from Pearson to St. John’s International Airport currently cost $99 to $129.

The affordable airline will also offer seven flights to Edmonton beginning July 28, with one-way tickets currently available for less than $100. Lynx will also add more flights to Calgary, increasing from seven flights to twelve per week starting in late June.

In addition to adding flights from Pearson, there will also be flights from Hamilton International Airport, so residents won’t have to hop on the 401 to catch a cheap trip.

Lynx will offer two weekly flights to Calgary from Hamilton starting June 29. From July 29, they will increase these flights to four per week.

Also from June 29, passengers can fly to Halifax from Hamilton on Lynx, with two flights a week.
