Lynx Air announces tons of super cheap new flights from Toronto

Canada’s newest ultra-low-cost airline continues to grow. Lynx Air, which only started last November, has announced new destinations and additional flights ahead of the summer travel season in Canada. Starting in June, you can take a ride from Toronto to other parts of Canada at very low prices.

The new flights, which will depart from Hamilton’s John S. Munro Airport as well as Pearson Airport, offer passengers six destinations to choose from – Halifax, St. John’s, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.

Flights from Toronto to Halifax will operate three times a week beginning June 30th and will increase to five per week from July 30. Flights from Toronto to St. John’s will operate twice a week beginning June 28 and will increase to seven a week on July 28.

Flights from Toronto to Edmonton will operate seven times a week starting June 29 and will increase trips from Calgary from seven to twelve a week.

As for Hamilton, flights to Calgary will be operated twice a week from June 29 and will increase to four on July 29. Flights from Hamilton to Halifax will depart twice a week from June 29.

Also this week, WestJet unveiled its summer schedule with 92 daily departures from Toronto to cities across Canada and around the world.

Not only will the airline launch new daily flights from Toronto to Chicago starting in May, it will also relaunch direct flights to Europe with service to Spain, UK, Ireland and Scotland.

Air Canada also announced that it was expanding its summer flight schedule with dozens of new destinations around the world.
