Lufthansa Group chooses Recaro Aircraft Seating to equip Economy Class 100 aircraft

The Recaro Aircraft Seating (Recaro) CL3710 and CL3810 seats have been selected by the Lufthansa Group to equip its economy class cabins. The order for nearly 24,000 economy class seats will be fitted to nearly 100 Lufthansa and SWISS aircraft.

The Recaro Aircraft Seating (Recaro) CL3710 and CL3810 seats have been selected by the Lufthansa Group to equip its economy class cabins. The order for nearly 24,000 economy class seats will be fitted to nearly 100 Lufthansa and SWISS aircraft. Economy class seat CL3810 will be installed on SWISS A330-300 and Lufthansa B747-8

The CL3810 economy class seat will be installed on SWISS A330-300 and Lufthansa B747-8 aircraft. Passengers will appreciate the extra living space of the award-winning seat and premium comfort cushions with layered foam and innovative ergonomic technology. The seat is 15% lighter than its predecessor, which can save airlines thousands of dollars in fuel and optimize cabin performance. Both seats have been built with durability in mind and feature lightweight structures, which will reduce the aircraft’s carbon emissions.
