Budget airline launches cheap flights to Orlando from £149.99 for 2022

Cheap flights to Orlando are on offer from £149.99 each way with new low-cost airline PLAY – and these aren’t the only cheap flights to the US on offer for holidaymakers

PLAY has launched cheap flights to Orlando from £149.99

Britons planning a vacation to Florida can now catch cheap flights to Orlando from £149.99 thanks to a new low-cost airline.

Icelandic airline PLAY is expanding its UK routes with new services from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which includes services to Orlando from £149.99 each way.

The itinerary will include a stopover in Reykjavik where passengers can choose to extend their trip with a visit to Iceland or fly directly to the United States after a 1 hour and 35 minute stopover in the Icelandic capital.

The new flights from Liverpool will start from November 2022 and run for the airline’s winter timetable until April 2023, making it ideal for families after a mid-February getaway or holidaymakers looking to travel outside school holiday dates.

There will also be flights to Iceland available from Liverpool from £59.99 each way, if you are tempted to explore some of the most beautiful places in Iceland!

Although Orlando doesn’t have a reputation for being a budget destination, the good news is that there are ways to cut costs.

The study compared 36 popular holiday destinations on a range of factors, including costs for a cup of coffee, a three-course dinner for two and bottles of beer or glasses of wine.

Orlando is not the only American destination offered to the British. Earlier this year PLAY announced a new service to New York, flying between London Stansted and New York Stewart International Airport, which included fares from £139 each way.
